Steve sounds like you still have air in the system.
Try undoing the injector lines at the injectors then turn over or if you can get it to idle then crack the injector lines one by one and let them leak a bit, you may see a buble or two in the infected line.

I found on rodeos, that when you replace the filter, ensure the new filter is already full of diesel, then pump the purge pump. After starting, rapidly pump the purge while idling, Works every time ( less mess and time) Cheers, Brad
