Its a piece of cake. I used the ARB tray and made up my own cables and leads, used a REDARC battery isolator between the batteries and it works a treat for $119 from Ingram at Tullamarine. I run a voltmeter/tem gauge mounted on the front of the GU overhead console to keep track of the volts on the second battery and you can see when the relay is closed etc. Also used a cranking battery (got it for nothing!) and its about 85amphr but doesnt have the repeated comeback capabilities of a true deep cycle but it'll run the winch ok and lights etc, just dont want to kill it with a
fridge too often.
Cant see why to pay ARB unless you have absolutely no idea. The only tricky bit is getting the indicator assembly out but persevere and it'll happen.
