Hi Guys
Looking for a water bladder made to size to fit a campertrailer. Have checked past posts and have found floatpac site. Has anyone had a water bladder made to order and where from. If anyone has a water bladder what is the water quality like. Cheers Grahame

I have had one made by Fabric Solutions in
Brisbane.
Product still working fine 12 mo later despite desert crossings and other hard work. Mine is 100litre jobbie.
It takes a while to get the plastic flavour out of the bladder, but eventually it provides water as good as you put in. I do keep aquatabs for both the bladder and the 45 litre Longranger
water tank though, as water quality begins to be a problem in warmer conditions after a week or so.
Their website is www.fabricsolutions.com.au and phone: (07) 33827451 - contact Paul Wrigley. Family business, great service. Tell him I sent you please.
Cheers
Andrew.

Andrew as for taste in the bladder that can be overcome by filling the bladder and adding some bicarb of soda and let it sit for a couple of days then flush
well and refill with fresh water, taste "almost" gone and will go completely over a couple more fills.
It worked for me.

yep - did that. Didn't have the luxury of the "couple of days" - just "couple of fills" after the initial one.

Oh Andrew,
I am sure you would have done that, that tip was for the new punters, your bladder would be
well past that sort of treatment!!! LOL

Even better - it is a quite amazing factory. They do all sorts of bladders including ones bigger than your house for fuel and all sorts.

$249 inc GST plus shipping at cost (and it packs down to a real small box and comes with a felt lining to help look after it). This was with food grade materials, and included a simple hose/tap arrangement.
This was one year ago and I have no idea about present prices.
I have no relationship to those guys except satisfied customer.

G`day Graham,
I don`t know where in Vic you are, but there is a mob in Kangaroo Flat (
Bendigo )
that do plastic work ,tanks etc. I don`t know their name but if you run through the yellow pages try plastic welding.
cheers ,
Scrubcat.
