First thing I would do is get it compression tested
I'm no expert but from what I have been told is that if oil is being blown back out anywhere, then you have a problem.
If you have a positive crackcase ventilation system, ( not too sure ) then check it to make sure the valve is not stuck.
Are you using the recomended class and viscosity oil ? as per the drivers manual !
Apart from that I cannot offer any advice, except to take it back to the people where you had it done, and if you did it yourself then you may have got something wrong somewhere.
By chance was the original pistons used, and maybe one has a hole in it.
Did you check the ring gaps ?
I'm not too sure what they are supposed to be, but just a little over could be detremental
Did you get just one of the rings in the wrong spot ?
Or did one ring crack during installation ?
Were the rings correctly rotated, ? ie one piston may have ring gaps down 1 side, there is a correct position for them.
I wish you luck and please let me know the prognosis !
Cheers

Don't have a valve in this motor. Can't find driver's manual. Had the whole engine properly done up, valve springs, guides, with new cylinder liners (Chrome), new pistons, new rings, timing has been checked, fuel injection pump, the works. When it came to fitting the rings, these were carefully checked to ensure right way up and correctly rotated - i.e. no gaps right underneath oneanother. (done by a mechanic).
She now runs like a dream but I just have this problem of blowby with the oil. Someone somewhere mentioned that synthetic oil does not allow rings to seal properly against chrome sleeves and I was wondering or at least now hoping this is my problem. Have you heard about this.
Cheers Trish
