Hi all
Just got a 2001 ford courier and getting frustrated as hell. First finally found out the there are no gregory's or haym(n)es books have to get factory. Does anyone know or have(without going to ford) the wiring for a ford courier 2001.
Also pulled the old radio out and about to install new one and there is no mounting bracket(also looks as though have to hack into the dash to get it to fit. Anyone know of a way to do this, without hacking into the dash)(radio is a sony) and can i get a mounting bracket from some where.
Also pulled the radio out to try and fit it new one in, went to put it back in and the code didnt work and the radio wont reset so i can have another go at entering the code.
Probably too many questions for one post, but as i said getting pretty frustrated.

Have you tried to get a book for a Mazda Bravo - same vehicle with different badge.

Hi
Thanks, i have but no luck. One of the places I went to said that it depends whether mazda/ford wants to release the copyright to the wiring diagrams/car servicing as to whether they will right a book. The guys looked in one of the books and the only one he could find was ford genuine maintenance manual $600 if not more. I also didnt want to keep going back to ford or mazda every time there was a problem with the car.

Shieldsee,
Supercheap carry a range of radio mounting brackets.
Some brand specific and some universal fitment types. Dont know about your other queries.

HI
Finally got this one sorted out. Had to get a professional radio installer to tell me which harness to use so i can easily plug'n'play. For anyone who is interested it was a aerpro AP7901 and soldered straight onto the sony harness i have. The guy also told me that the whole thing will just squeeze in(dont know how but he says it will)
