I am also a member of a 4WD Club
here in the Gold Coast
. After reading the original post it appears to be a group that, although members of the club
, weren't on any official club
I know if anyone in our club
was the behave like that action would be taken by other members there and then. They certainly wouldn't stand around and let someone defame the club
or treat people like they did.
I suspect a few renegade redneck members of the club
used the club
's name in vain.
I hope they are expelled for life.
Carlin, out of interest what age group are we talking about here?

To be honest, its irrelevant. We thank you for the apologies on this thread and others. We appreciate the efforts members (especially those of you who were not there) have made towards our young
family and to keep the reputation of this club
for the sake of those members who are obviously awesome people. We just hope those who have not emerged and who KNOW they contributed to the pack mentality will be dealt with by the club
and the QLD4wd assoc. We have just moved into Brisbane
from a much smaller town and after our travels on many a weekenders and to the Gulf country
, Cape York
, Central Austrlalia and soon to be Vic high country
we have never come across a 4wd club
before (or that we know of!) and what appears to be a nasty BUT very isolated incident by a minority.
