Language Filter/ shirley

I'm no prude but is it possible for the moderators to pre filter any of these over the top messages and deny further message capability to these morons who insist on fouling both cyberspace and radio transmissions with the garbage that they think is clever? Professionally I need to deal with these pieces of human garbage on a daily basis and my faith in the average person is further degraded when i'm assaulted with their mindless excreta when i'm relaxing. I find this to be both a most educational/entertaining forum and would prefer to be able to continue to share the experience with the family and not have to be embarrassed by a minute minority.

Typical of the foul mouth of Truckster and followed by IamGQ. No manners no breeding no brains to post eBay advertisements and then carry on in a foul mouth and indicated symbols. Shirly did take it a little to far, but can understand her doing it to show up the morons.

William,

I strongly disagree!! Truckster and IAMGQ's language is NEVER dircted at anyone, they are just casual comments on an issue that is being discussed. I have never been offended by any of their comments, but "Shirely" took it WAY to far.

And when it comes to IAMGQ's attempt to help out a mate, I think you will find that you were the only one who was offended by it. It is unfortunate that you should regard such a gesture as being "rude" or "having no brains".

Mate, I think you are well and truly alone on this issue.

Tristjo.

Gee you taking on another name for today Ozi?

Point out where Truckster has said anything bad?

Also point out where they are the same people, apart from the fact that IAMGQ is a 'new australian', they couldnt be further apart....

Nice try at a troll, you got 2 bites.... Try again.

I agree that some of the Language may not be entirely apropriate, But we don't want to go down the filter road where we can't even tell someone to get thet stuff at "DICK SMITHS ELECTRONICS" as it will be filtered out!!!!
At least those who are accuseed of this do it symbolicaly.
Maybe we all need to take a teaspoon of cement with our coffee and harden up, if this is the worst thing that happens to us then we are lucky.
I for one believe this fourm(for the most part) is very informitave civil, and well run!
