Hi guys

Am thinking of buying Meridian Colour GPS from USA. I have looked at the other threads on this subject but would appreciate any info re hassles and fixes anybody has had (only those who have imported from USA) re setting up the Meridians for Australian conditions e.g base map etc.

Have also looked at the Yahoo Meridian site.

Thanks in advance.PT

Aussie Magellan getbleepwith people saving money buyin from O/S, but theres NOTHING they can do to stop you, as there shouldnt be! Their prices are nuts.

A mates in the middle of ordering 10+ Colors from USA as per above, preorders - all sold!!

YMMV.

Thanks for your reply. Have gone to the Mall27 site but can only find 64mb SDcard.

Is there another site that I don't know about where the same units can be bought.

CheersPT

As a matter of curiosity, is the 8Mb Australian basemap that is available at http://www.navicache.com/meridian_basemaps/in colour? Is it the same as the one supplied with the Meridian Color sold in Australia?
