Prado, stop stressing mate. What you heard was correct, but only when they were demolishing the top superstructure of the wreck, it was getting pretty dangerous. What is in place now is a 20 meter exclusion zone around the wreck and a $6000 fine if anyone breaches the exclusion zone. That way people can still see whats let of the ship, but not endangering themselves by giong in to it. The
Cherry Venture went a ground in 1974. I remember it well as I was there when they were trying to salvage her, she was a big girl then, not much left now.
