you might try Wombeyan Caves Road, and head of to Yerranderie via Limeburners Flat. You can also Drive all the way to Jenolan caves, via Dingo Dell camp area and visit Kanangra Walls. To do both is a lot of driving could be good for 2 trips. Cheers

Rob,

Did this trip in March over 3 days, based ourselves at the Wombeyan Caves camping ground (flushing toilets and hot showers!!) and had a ball. We took a day trip to Yerranderie, via Limeburners, in lieu of Jenolan caves. Most of the tracks are an easy drive so it would be a great get away for the novice.

Cheers

The Yerranderie/Limeburners is a good drive - plenty of spots to camp.
Here is a few more to try.
Try Bendethera (good drive and camp site with caves to explore) - include Araluan (camp on the river) Majors Creek, the Big Hole (good camp site).
Blue water Hole/Coolamine Hmstd (from Yarangobilly)
The Ravine/Lobs Hole (from Kiandra)
Tom Groggin (near Thredbo)
Thredbo (camp site on the river just Nth of town) walk to ski tube etc.
Paddys River Dam (south of Batlow)

Look at 4WD tracks and camps
They have a good selection of books.
