Article Overview - Fifth Wheel Caravans

My cousin travelled Oz with a fifth wheeler 2 years ago says the only problem is finding caravan parks with large bays ,as I was going to buy one for safety after so many caravans jack knife or sway a lot. I guess it is whether you are confident in driving pulling a caravan.

A few things to consider.
How large, or more to the point, how small a caravan can you live with.
If going for a caravan, rear set axle, WHD, anti-sway device, tow vehicle heavy enough for the caravan not to "overpower" it etc, etc. and you may find problems not as big as they seem
Hope this helps
