Pajero servicing question

I have done a search on this with no luck so I am hoping someone can help. I have a friend looking at a '93 LWB Pajero with the V6 fitted. I'm trying to find out if the 200,000km service is as involved and expensive as the one in my '03 Triton, e.g. timing belt, platinum spark plugs, fuel filter etc. Any help would be appreciated, as would advice on the pitfalls of this model. It has just rolled over 200,000kms, but is in excellent condition with full dealer service history. Thanks, Phil.

Get the dealer to complete the 200,000 service as a part of the deal. Won't cost them all that much.

Yes it will need all of that, plus a water pump. Get a private mechanic to do it should be less than $8oo.00 and haggle the price down. Also check the condition of the valve stem seals as they normally need replacing at 200000ks.

timing belt (100000)
plugs(100000)
wheel bearings(40000)
difs and transfer(40000)
air filter(40000)
coolant and brake fluid(40000)
gearbox(100000)some
not sure on fuel filter some are 40000 and some 60000 but change it anyway.
certainly isnt a cheap service.
as said above get dealer to do as part of the deal.

Thanks everyone. The vehicle in question is a private sale, but the owner has now agreed to have this major service done. Any other traps with this model I should be aware of?
