I too will place some photo's in the rig pics in a couple of weeks.....
I built mine, but it is probably not as economical as you think.
The 3 sets of runners were around $250, a couple of hundred for the ply, 50 bucks worth of steel, 150 worth of carpet, so it cost me about $650.00.
Chuck a couple of days of building onto that, pay yourself a wage and you are better off with a bought system. On the other hand, It was enjoyable to build, it fits the vehicle,
fridge, storage containers etc perfectly, and I can remove it in about 5 min to put the 3rd row of seats back in so I am happy with the unit.
I'll mm you when I do the pics in a couple of weeks...
PS I did build some bodgey ones for around $200 previously, non steel,
drawers were ply on ply (no runners, no carpet), and there was no
fridge slide. It worked well for me, but the wife couldn't open the
drawers very easily, and couldn't get stuff from the
fridge very easily (vertically disadvantaged). They served a purpose and survived a trip to
Kalumburu, and most of the ply was recycled into the flash new ones.
