Hi,

I am wanting to buy an On-Road Camper Trailer in Victoria - any suggestions please? I would like it to have the option of an extra bedroom for down the track if we have another child.

We would like to spend around $8000, or less if second-hand. I have seen brand new CT's on eBay for around $3000 - anyone care to comment on them please too?

Thanks,
- Danielle

Hi Danielle - For $8k you should get a good quality camper second hand. I have been researching campers for some time now & quality 'on-road' campers are priced around $6k. I can't comment on Vic though - I'm in Brissie.
I would advise that a $3k camper would not be of good quality & $8k for an 'on road' would be at the top end of the price bracket (depending on how optioned up it is)
Hope this helps
Cheers
Jason

Danielle,

We can put you into a brand new on road camper, with a full drawer system in the trailer for $4000. Our ad in is the trader section with photos.

For well under 8 grand we can set you up a full off road camper, with drawers, water tank, 3 jerry can holders, gas bottle holder. Trailer is genuine heavy duty, fully galvanised with 23 inch sides.

You're most welcome to call into our factory to inspect the quality and construction. We spent a week away in January in the on roader to give it a thorough test and it is a damn good unit.

Give me a call on 9706 6527, no obligation or hard sell. Happy to discuss your needs and offer any advice.

Jim.

Gday Daisy
Try "OUTBACK CAMPERS" 03 9775 1760. I have one of their trailers and have never had any problems. We have draged it to central Aust and many more places in Vic

Try Dingo Campers
I have a 14' model with awning. We don't see the need for another room.
I would get an end wall for each end of the awning.

Thanks for your suggestions.

I have had a look at Outback Campers and they seem great - but then again I really don't know much about campers!

I also looked at Tru Blu in Braeside which looked good too - anyone have any opinions on their campers.

Thanks so much!
