After putting our names down for Innaminka I decided to break it to the childbride at a suitable moment, plenty of time methinks.
While casually looking through the Visa, that, as usual resembles the National Debt, I ask said woman what this certain amount is
for. "I was trying to keep it a secret" but Ive booked us into Lord Howe Island for a week to celebrate our 40th anniversary. What
a woman think I. When ,I ask. July is the reply. So down goes
the National Gathering, but what can I say, always next year.

Maybe instead of delaying the national gathering for twelve months you could ask her to delay the 40 th anniversary for a year? You obviously have a good solid marriage to clock up that many years so I think if you were verrrrrrry careful & picked the right moment to make such a suggestion you should be sweet.
