If you really want a rugged PDA, then look for the TDS Nomad.. has inbuilt
GPS receiver, and runs the Windows CE 6 classic... OziE runs on that platform... can't remember what the other 'road app' was called...
.. and Ram-Mount has a mounting system for it. Their suction cups work really well. I've got two; one for the phone and one for the Tom Tom One
gps... works like a charm.
.. only drawback is its price.. too much $$'s for my liking else i would have bought one (I am a gadget freak). Now looking at getting a Panasonic Toughbook CF-30 as a salary sacrificed notebook (you can, I am told, get PDA's on that scheme as well..) as my employer provides some $$ support if you decide to buy your own non-standard laptop. Ends up costing me ~>$2500 which is not too bad for that platform.
