Had a torrential downpour here at El Arish this morning , it really pi$$ed down , I had 3" of water through the annex, and the creek right behind was over the bank too, fortunately it's going down now but could come up again very quickly if we get more heavy rain.

Philip
The Turtles are doing fine , except at the moment they would well anchored down in thier holes with about 2m of water going over them, the rain has eased off now to a drizzle and the creek is going down fast.

Hi Doug.

Great photos, I like the instant information you have sent, better
than the media, looks like a nice van park.
Its fine on the Gold Coast today, just a bit windy in places.

Cheers

G'day Daza
Yeh it is nice here, only 3.5 permanents and no tourists....yet, Dusty does his own thing without fear of getting run over, just the creek can be a worry , try Diggers Creek in Places ...if it works, wasn't yesterday , couldn'y open anything at all .

I hope Dusty has his floaties on LOL

It looks just like our place was a couple of weeks ago, water everywhere one minute and gone the next. You just clean it up and you get hit with another downpour.

Cheers Kev

I rang the caretakers of the Groper Creek caravan park in the week re a booking for the Winter and was told they're in a terrible mess. They've been under water for weeks, and now the grounds are just slush, with trees and rubble that have been washed down the Burdekin, and snakes galore ! Said she hadn't seen any crocs though.
