restoration and update

just finished restoring a 1983 Toyota Toyoace with a poptop-- Roadstar
Adelaide
Luxury Liner 13ft caravan body.
Luxury back then was just the basic things neccesary for a holiday with an annexe for extra room.
Had a 1975 coaster for the last 18 years been there -done that -so only will use this one for short holidays, nosing around internet and found there is a classic motorhome club in the uk for ones built before 1987, my rego number starts with U G C --so if one of those modern ubeaut homes look down thier noses at me -(and some do)--- got the perfect answer ---- mines an" Up Graded Classic".
By the way solved the aircon problem ----sacrificed a cupboard in the front kitchen by installing a Dimplex portable one by venting the hot air out through the floor as well as the water its easy to remove as well . now for the cabin.
One idea from the USA is a cooler full of
ice
sealed at the top. it has a fan that blows through the
ice
and out of a vent that you can direct the
cool
air where you are sitting.
now the
ice
would be a problem in how long it would last, they say up to 6 hours, yeah doubtful on that, so am wondering if one of these
waeco
coolers could be converted and make the
ice
last longer and still keep the drinks
cold
, food for thought
