Reduce tyre pressures on CT to 15psi and you should be OK.

AB is just a track which is VERY corrugated in places

When are doing the trip, we are leaving Nullabor on the 6th June with CTs to go the opposite way to you by the description of your question.

We have done the trip before with CTs and it is not too hard.
As Willem said, lower your tyre pressures and take it easy over the rough stuff.

Need to prepare the vehicle and trailer to be corrugation proof - plenty of vehicles and trailers get trashed out there, and help is difficult/impossible to obtain.

The road from Voakes Hill to Cook is a nice drive with a fair bit of interest. The top end involves driving across some dunes, which shouldn't present a problem. It is becoming more overgrown. You will pass multiple aboriginal wells, len beadell plaques, and can take the side trip down to lake Wyola. The water tanks installed by the aboriginal community, have always had good rainwater when I've visited, but don't rely on it. There are some beautiful stands of black oaks through there. The Cook township is gradually disappearing, but is still used for railway crews to sleep and change over. The Nullabor tracks past Kudna Rockhole are more interesting than the main road that follows the fence up from the highway.

Hi Al,

I travelled the Anne Beadell Highway from Coober Pedy to Laverton two weeks ago. The corrugations on the South Australian side were quite considerable, but if you have a good, corrugation-proof CT and take it slowly it should work. However, the Anne Beadell Highway ist very narrow in places (especially in the SA part of it), so be prepared to add some scratches to your 4WD and your trailer. ;-)

From Serpentine lakes towards the Ilkjurlka roadhouse, the track was getting better and from Ilkjurlka on to Laverton it was in really good condition.

Regrettably, I cannot say anything about the track from Vokes Hill Corner south to Cook. Maybe you can contact Connie Sue Beadell from Beadell Tours:

I think I remember from the guest book at Vokes Hill Corner that they did a tour there just a few weeks ago, so Connie Sue should be able to give you some feedback on the way south to Cook.
