Can I take my FOXTEL on the road

I have a spare Foxtel dish so if I take the decoder box and set it up when camping will it work? I suppose I could just take it out in the yard and try it but this way is easier.

Yup- you could fasten the dish to the tent pole..and you could take

The computer with internet connection
The 'granny' chair to watch foxtel
The four poster bed
Playstation for the kids
and the DVD player..

Just thought of a good way to save on weight. Don't take the kids & you wont need the Playstation.

yep - easily done but you'll need a sat dish - I put mine into the spare jockey wheel bracket that I had welded on the opposite side of the a-frame.

I don't use it a lot as it does use a fair bit of power but it's handy for marine forecasts and... well, other stuff.

Yes - so long as the LNB's have the same LO freq and that you can accurately tune the dish. You can get little signal strength meters that will help with this.
