National Gathering - Innamincka

Submitted: Monday, Jun 02, 2008 at 17:29

Member - John T (NSW)

Evening all,

Still trying to collect prizes / gift bags for the gathering - esp for the kids who will be attending. I have an opportunity to get some "show bags" from the Murray Darling Basin Commission for nix so can anyone who is attending give me an idea of how many kids will be there - I'd like to be able to give every kid (little ones not you big kids) a "show Bag".

I know Kiwi / Nathan will have their 3, Sir Kev /Sam with theirs but no idea who else will be bringing the ankle biters along and I don't think bottles of red wine is a suitable prize for the kids LOL

This time in 5 weeks we'll be there wooooooohooooooo

Cheers

Nick, The theif last year was closer to home than I would have ever thought possible so no trap would have caught this guy as it was done right under my own nose, bloody mongrel hehehe.

Bonz, the flag has been replaced with a nice shiny new one as seen in the West Kunderang gathering earlier this year. It sits above a "bloody big" flag pole and is most difficult to steal this one.

Regards to you both and hope to see you at Innaminka.

Trevor I do not think that you have estimated the flagnappers skills enough. I happen to be fully cognisant of said nappers true identity and no pole, be it bloody big or not, will foil him/her.

Hey Bonz,

I have seen the "pole" and believe me it is big - read high - so said flag napper will need stilts to get to the flag. At West Kunderang King Cane Toad even tied the guard dog to the pole. I look fwd to seeing if the flag lasts the distance.

Cheers
