out come of "frozen fingers" post

Lots of good ideas came from that post I made about numb hands while riding the bike to work

Monday morning was the coldest one so far this winter out west of Sydney, after breaking the ice of the motorbikes seat I thought this will test my new toys.

I installed some heated hand grips and a set of bark busters and after riding the 45 mins to work I arrived with WARM hands WOO-HOO not bad considering it was -2 outside.

When I got to work there were some off the other nuts who ride their bike to work trying to warm hands on engine blocks ect wondering why I had such a smug grin on my face.

I should get shares in the company that makes the grips as 6 blokes could not believe how warm to the touch my hand grips were on the bike and are now in the process of buying and installing them!

Thanks for the advice Guys and Gals

Cheers Stefan

Right.

I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad and our mother would kill us and dance about on our graves singing Hallelujah.

And you try and tell the young people of today that ..... they won't believe you.

Funily enough, the long term locals tell me that knx didn't get tv until 1985. aparently it was an awsome town before them, the ski, sailing, rowing etc etc clubs had big memberships and great organised activity......I sometimes wish for that sort of community, anyway, better go and practice being a queenslander & watch teh state of origin

Cheers Andrew

now all you need is the heated 12 volt vest to go under the jacket.

mmmmm toasty.

Bloke at work has a new blackbird with the heated grips kit, this one even has a little electronic controller to set the temp exactly how you want it. Only cost $150 !! damn good value there.
