Bore Track

Joerg Michaelis

Were planning to go to Innamincka in the end of March and then to Camerons Corner afterwards via The Bore Track. Weve done the Strzelecki Track so often and looking for an alternative route. Has anybody done this Track and can tell us something about it (e.g. the conditions)?

Thank You

Joerg

Dear Joerg,

We entered the Bore Track after enterenig through Bollards Lagoon Station for a fee of $10 the track is easy for any high clearance vehicles. It is hot so make sure you have plenty of water and at least a uhf radio. This route is far more remote than the Strzelecki Track use common sense and tell someone of your route and contact them upon your completion. Most of all enjoy it, it is a scenic route more interesting than via the Strzelecki Track.

Dear Kelly,

thank you for the informations. When the conditions are all right, we will do the Bore Track.
