Rob

I am using Mac GS Pro.

Amongst other things it will speak your GS co-ords in a pretty freaky voice.

Worth a look.

Bob,

When you say Mac GS Pro, do you mean Mac GPS Pro. If so, I just had a quick look at the web site for the Mac GPS Pro. It looks like it's American. Do you know if it runs and reads the Hema CD maps or what maps do use with the Program?

Thanks,
Rob.

On my Mac Book Pro (Intel version), I installed software called Parallels which then lets you install Windows that runs as a Virtual machine inside Mac. You can then run any Windows application and I use Mapsource which talks to my GPS with no problems.

Parallels lets you run most Windows programs on your Mac. I use MAC software where possible but have half a dozen Windows applications that need Windows (mainly stuff for work) so I can run them without a separate Windows PC.

Unless there is actually mac software, then parallels or vmware ( or even virtual box if you want to save some dollars, haven't used it, but heard good things) is the way to go, as stevesub points out, it will let you run windows within os x (must have a intel based mac though)

I use VirtualBox in Linux and in the latest update it now also runs on the Mac systems.
Its a fantastic program and its FREE.
