Yes Gramps but before we were known as Cane Toads we were always just "Banana Benders". The Cockroach and Cane Toad terminology has come about with the popularity of State of Origin as far as I can remember. I can't remember what the New south Welshman were called before the Cockroach association though? Pillow Biters springs to mind hehehehe.

Bruce, my young fella was given a book with a whole heap of slang and it just got me thinking of the terms I can remember that are hardly used anymore, and where they originated from.
