Article Overview - Generator Power
The generator, which was discovered by Michael Faraday, is an ingenious device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy. Today’s popular camping generators use fuel powered engines to create this energy. View Full Article...
I am in the process of giving my Honda EU20i a service and in respect to the air cleaner element, find this in the manual: "wash in a non - flammable or high flash point solvent and...."

What would that be? A note states: "do not use gasoline or low flash point solvents for cleaning."

I have Turps , metho, acetone, gp thinners etc. in the shed, but all, presumably do not qualify. What do I use?

I think the idea is not to have (say) petrol on the filter and end up with a flash fire in the filter from some cause.
I've always used petrol and thoroughly dried the filter before use.

Kerosene or white spirits are preferable to petrol (safer when cleaning)

Hi Warstar,

I use warm soapy water (dishwashing liquid) with a couple of swig's of kerro in it & it works. I have cleaned enough air filters looking after my son racing motocross, super cross. Just air dry after that, put a little bit of filter oil back on the air filter element & massage it into the filter.

Cheers Macca

PS do not make the water to hot I have shrank a few filters by doing that
