aftermarket turbos

g'day all. Anybody got any thoughts on aftermarket turbocharging of toyota's 3L diesel motors? Specifically in reference to later model Hilux's. Cheers.

Are you talking about a 3L series engine which is a 2.8lt or a 3lt engine which is a 5L series?

Either way it doesn't matter they are both in the same basket.

I own a 3L with a DTS turbo that has done an easy 200,000 Km. I would never go back, if you set it up right they are fantastic. it wont fly but the torque increase is huge. I go up hills now in fourth and fifth that i previously had to rev the tits off it in third.
