Outback NSW/SA/VIC Border track trip August 8th-16th 09

Guys,
Running a small trip that i'm inviting you on.
Trip is limited to 5 cars and there is 2 more spots avail.

The Trip is as follows
Sat 8th August
Melb to Mungo via Mildura, about 8 hours driving.
Sunday 9th, Mungo to Danggali Conservation park, Via Pooncarie. This day could be short or long depending on the tracks. This is Very remote and i'm excited about it.
Monday 10th, Canopus to Sunset nat park, staying at Shearers quarters if i can get it, if not staying at camp site next door.
Tues 11th, Shearers quarters to Big Desert, Via Pink lakes and Underbool and a killer sand dune.
Wed 12th, Big desert to Redbluff, via Pinnaroo and one way section of border track. One of the best days. Demanding and fun. All sand work.
Thurs 13th, Redbluff to Naracoorte Caves. Via Border Town. Some great bog holes up to 6 foot deep if you dont like chicken tracks.
Friday 14th, Naracoorte to Princess margaret Caves. Pine plantations, Site of the infamous lake of swans...
Sat 15th, Nelson to Melb. Or if you have not had enough..... Nelson to Robe for some beech driving and camping
Sunday 16th, Nelson/Robe to Melb.

Some days will be a full 6-8 hours driving, some will be 4hours.

Fuel info.
All have Diesel.
Melb to Mildura, Lots of them along the way and LPG at most of them.
Mildura to Pooncarie 180km, NO LPG at Pooncarie. Pooncarie may not be open.
Pooncarie to Coombah Road house. 100km if open. No LPG
Coombah to Renmark 180km, LPG and Premium ULP
Renmark to Underbool 150km, No LPG
Underbool to Pinnaroo 100km, LPG avail
Pinnaroo to Bordertown 130km, LPG Avail
Bordertown to Naracoorte, 90km, LPG Avail
Naracoorte to Nelson 140km, No LPG
All Fuels avail on way back to melb on Princess and western hwy.

Requirements from you and your car.
You are self sufficent, you carry everything of your own... Water food camping equipment and spares....
Your car is relaible and trust worthy... Mind you i have a Land Rover....lol
You have basic knowledge on survival in the desert
You have done some sort of driver training or be experianced in recovery and driving...

Easy really....

Last time we did it it was a blast.... Lots to see and lots to do...

Water may not be avail, so you will need to carry about 4 or more days worth of water. You can fill at some of the towns.

Currently i have 2 others coming and they are in Land Rovers, but we need a token Toyota or Nissan..lol Any car as long as it is a REAL 4wd is welcome. No softroaders.

Preferance will be given to those with experiance and well kitted cars, but i'm happy to have a newby come along for the great experiance..

Even thou it will be winter, it will be warm and Dry, it is a desert Track for the top half... Clothes need to be from warm to Freezing... the Desert is COLD at night....

Total KM............ 2000km..... Melb to Melb
