Hi everyone,
Thought I would let you know yesterday picked up our new (to us) 100 series turbo landcruiser this is our first step in setting up to travel and work. It is gold 2003 77000ks on the clock has drawers, fridge slide, snorkel, spare wheel carrier, roof basket, cargo barrier, and a heap of brand new spares, we may have paid too much but it was what we wanted and it was owned by a fastidous owner so it is immaculate. So now our son gets to but our 80 series when he sell his pajero

Hi barbara,

"or son because he gets to buy the 80 series at offspring rates"

Geez our offspring rates is $0, gave our son my car when his was on the blink and with young family was finding things tough, after two years and another bub on the way making the car (ED Falcon) too small for them so we got it back again, we've also lost a trailer to our kids, bought another and now we don't have that one, Hubby refuses to buy another so when we want ours back we have to go to the relevant offspring and get it.

Uhhhhhh don't you love having kiids, we certaintly wouldn't be without ours.

Cheers

Deanna

Good luck with it Barb,

You just proved a post of a mine a week or so back - where I was saying that good 80 - series don't seem to end up on the used market - they stay in the family!

Your young bloke will do well out of the 80 series.
I know my lad still reckons his is the best vehicle on the road!
Spends almost as much time lavished on the vehiocle as the girlfriend.

Some times I even get to drive the old girl - every time I start wishing she was still mine.

Congratulations on your new 100 series, Barbara. Sounds like you bought a good one. If it's been looked after and you're happy with it, then the price is fine. I bought similarly 3 years ago, thought I'd perhaps paid a premium yet it's been so good, I now know I got a bargain. I hope you now have many happy adventures in yours. - Peter

Hello Barb

Sounds a bit like our story - I remember buying our Honda generator a few years ago and saying that this was step 1. Since then I've got the 100 series cruiser, and then last year the van - in six weeks time we are off on our first big trip - out to Camerons Corner and then wing it from there. Good luck with the rest of your plan.
