With any increase in tyre size you increase the fulcrum load on the brakes. The warnings protect the tyre company from litigation, it bears no resemblance to what will happen to your vehicle.

Every decision is a choice and risk is involved with every choice. Me? I would slap em on and drive accordingly.

I personaly would not go bigger then 245/75 , but son has put 265/75 on his 02 Jack. No touching of guards but it has turned a good road vehicle into a dog imho, but he did put MTs on. Why do you want bigger tyres?. My Jack has gone everywhere I have wanted to go on standard 245/70. But I do like the power for towing.
Bold Jack also has 265/75 on.
Cheers Pete
