For the petrol the following technology has been adopted
Dual VVTI which varies the inlet and exhaust timing
Roller rockers and hydraulic lash adjusters
202 Kw at 5600 RPM
381 Nm at 4400 but 85% of that from 1200 RPM
For the diesel there is no change in any major form but the control of direct injection has been changed along with quite of other modifications that make the engine quite different in characteristics from the current D4D
127Kw at 3400 RPM
410 Nm from 1600 to 2800 RPM
Gear ratio's in the auto are changed as are the shift points
This is a very different vehicle from 120 Prado
