Shreder,

I had a similar thing happen with mine, changed batteries, tried it on mains power then I finally took out the SD card pressed the start button, then it fired up no worries. Try it it might work.

Check direction of battery insertion. I know on some of the earlier models you can be tricked by the requirement to insert batteries in a different direction into the same clips ie the clip does not give the clue as to the direction of battery insertion.

Hi Shreder, is it possible that is its turning on but the screen is dead? For instance could you 'turn it on' and plug it into your computer and see if you can access it via the computer?doc.
