wheels rims 16x8

Hi All.
looking at upgrading my tyres, i have 80 L/C current tyres are P275/70 R16
2 of my original rims must have leaks, tyres have tubes so i will buy some new rims will 16x8 rims fit my new tyre choice of 285/75 r16

Hope this is a helpful comment, but I nearly go caught when Toyota went from 6 stud to 5 stud rims, around 1999. In my case, it is a 90 series Prado, but I have a suspicion the change affected LCs as well. My pay to check what you buy!!
