Brisbane to Bourke

I will be travelling Brisbane - Bourke mid December. Is there any areas of interest to visit on the way???

It all depends on which way you intend to travel:
Moree - Walgett - Bourke or Dirranbandi - Hebel - Walgett - Bourke or Cunnamulla - Bourke
Here are 3 variables & you could go different ways to get to the first place mentioned in the above 3 examples. Also depends on how much time you have to get to Bourke.

Being Brisbane based too, and having done a few trips Bourke way, there are two basic options.

Stay north of the border, and drop over some where on the way to Bourke, or maybe go as far as Eulo, and down through Currwinya National Park.

Head south of the border from Brisy, and head through New England, Lightning Ridge etc to Bourke.

A lot to see either way.
