Nice bit of kit the Hagguland.
The New South Wales Fire Brigades have on at Perisher. I first saw it many years ago when it drove through the yard at the training college. It is one of the few vehicles in the fleet that I have not had a decent look at. One day I will get to have a play with it.

They are slow noisy and uncomfortable, though I wouldn't trade them for anything else down here.

I shall have to remember to show my husband when he flys in from work. He wintered in Casey back in 1980 as a diesel mechanic and then at Mawson 10 years later. No internet back then - how communications have changed. Enjoy your stay!

Hi Blue One
A chap from
Clare is down there at the moment. If you meet David Kelly, say G'Day and ash him if he is missing the Hot Weather.
Cheers
