ONe thing you can do is join a club. You can gain experience from the club accredited Driver Training, and also gain knowledge and ideas from other members. Well worth checking.

The Nissan Club meets in Five Dock, VERY good driver training course, I did when I was living in bleep ney

Good suggestion T. Even though you now live in Melboring you know the right places to get the best services.
Sydney Nissan Patrol car club takes in members with any make of vehicle. Part of the conditions of membership is that you undertake their driving course, its all included in the membership fee. The big plus is that you get to meet some beaut experienced people and can go on weekend trips. All a great experience

You could also look at aussie offroad, a commercial organisation. They are friends of mine, so of course I recommend them;
Try www.aussieoffroad.com.au

The Toyota Landcruiser Club runs a good (accredited) course at a very affordable price. Interestingly, half the trainers drive Nissans so the Club is for all comers.

Their URL is: http://www.tlcc.com.au/

I did the Basic 4WD course with Getabout 4WD Adventures link textand found the course very practical and very safety conscious. The trainers were great and made everyone feel very welcome. Reasonably priced as well.

I did mine with Vic Widmans Great Divide Tours as well as the TLCC. The clubs like you to do theirs whether you've done it before or not.

Both were very good and different enough to keep them interesting.

Cheers,
