For my money there was no specific points of interest along the way that couldn't be gotten at via
Shay Gap or Woodie Woodie Roads. Callawa Homestead and old Warrawagine shearing shed were interesting &
Coppins Gap was a nice spot for a picnic lunch but they're all this side, or thereabouts, of the
Oakover River.
I wouldn't recommend taking the west (right) side of Callawa Rd when the road splits as there was virtually nothing to see in that section except bush & trees scratching your car. It took us 7 hours to complete 54 Km's and we were smashing our way thru. Without software or
GPS one could easily get lost I reckon too.
Am curious as to what's on the left side but curiosity killed the cat and this cat won't be traversing that track again.
It took us all 2 whole days to get the sap off our Toyota's as well but that's neither here nor there as you've always got to clean after a big trip.
