Has anyone driven from Oodnadatta to Alice Springs via Old Andado Track recently? I would appreciate any reports on track conditions or any other tips. Thanks a lot.

I was up in Alice Springs a couple of weeks ago and my mate had returned three weekends before from a camping trip at Dalhousie. He reported that it was very dry and that the corrugations and bulldust from Dalhousie to Alice Springs via Old Andado and Santa Theresa were to the extreme. The corrugations were so bad his windscreen ('89 Rangie) slipped down and left an open margin at the roofline to let more dust in. So this feedback is about 5 weeks old. Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Willem
