If you are a bit of a gambler, i have a set of heavy duty OME springs in the shed that i have for sale on this forumn . They are 851/864 springs and are explained in the OME book as weighty
accessories on front, and 400kg constant weight in the back will give 2 inch lift all round.
They are suited to your diesel and rear bar/
draws. They would also handle a winch/batteries and bars, aswell as longrange tanks and towing duties. They are quite comfortable to ride on, and were taken off for the ever elusive larger lift.
On my cruiser (as u can see in the photo) most
accessories were on,(and it sat 3 inches up) but it is petrol and lighter in that aspect.
Now some will say buy new, and i can understand their point of view, i cant say i have ever heard of OME breaking springs, but as with all things.... they will sag with age. These havnt in the last 2 yrs yet.
They can be changed over quite easily with jack stands and a trolley jack on a level concrete pad, and if you are close enough to come over, i can help in that regard.
Shox are what fails early in most suspensions, it is not uncommon for 3 sets to be put through a cruiser b4 the springs need any work
