My new Patrol (petrol) came with 275/65/17 Bridgestone 693 AT as standard.
Not a tyre I would have chosen , but mounted on pretty alloys I kept them for around town use and frequently change to other wheels sets for bush(steel rims).
I feel this saves in the long run.
For the gravel work I keep a set of BFG at , as per other posts above.
They work better on gravel than most others because the lugs and gaps between more closely approach a 50/50 ratio whch means more gravel
can get into grooves before the tyre begins to slide.
