Fred, Use large blocks of
ice in your esky, made with
ice cream containers or 2Ltr milk bottles. These should see you through 3 days, although the esky will need to be in tip-top condition. Keeping your esky covered is also a good idea, as is keeping it out of direct sunlight. The milk bottle idea serves 2 ways, it stops everything in the esky getting soggy and when it thaws, you have extra drinking water. As for personal cooling, learn to live with it, we always did in the old days. Enjoy your trip. Happy trails, Mike.
