Hi there. I've just installed the piranha dual
battery monitor but it has a problem. It is only showing a voltage on the aux
battery when the batteries are connected via the piranha dbe170, which isn't the voltage of the single
battery. The main
battery is showing the voltage fine. Any ideas?

I would imagine that the piranha dbe170 connecting the two batteries is an electronic isolator - if that is the case then there will be a voltdrop across the isolator of around half a volt. If it was mechanical isolator like the Redarc it would be virtually nil for most conditions.
