Prado diesel transfer lever

Does any one else who owns a Prado 120 series 3lt tdi auto have any problems with the transfer lever vibrating all the time or is this normal(1st diesel 4x4).The only problem iv'e found with a brilliant vehicle.

replied: Yes quite normal. You must remember that a diesel has over double the compression ratio of a petrol engine, hence vibrations are more noticeable. I've found that if an e-tag is fitted to that vehicle it's prone to vibrate and sounds like a dashboard rattle. I agree it's a brilliant vehicle.

replied: I have a 3.0l TD Auto Surf, similar running gear to the prado, and the same thing, but yeah normal, if you have a manual TD you have two sticks vibrating! ;-)
