Never used SNOPES. The policy is that if you are at all suspicious then delete it. If it is important then they should have sent it by mail. Emails can so easily be tampered with that we do not accept anything "official" by email.

I can also look at the raw file data in both hex and binary before opening any email. Helps to have a grass roots type of programming background.
