Try looking here

Badgers is pretty reliable as it is compiled from those that have been there. It's located under Miara, not Bundaberg, which may help you to find it.

g'day bj&reen,

If it were me I would go to Norval Park which is further up the beach and is free, you get to it the same way as you do for Miara but instead of turning right once you're in Yandaran, you turn left onto Sth Littabella Rd and follow your nose to the council campsites, you can choose to stop there or follow the beach to numerous free grassy camps that are right on the dunes under the cauarinas with fantastic views, you can drive parallel to the beach and get right right to the mouth of the Kolan River from your camp, good fishing and camping.

Google Earth 'Norval Park 4670' for a view :)

cheers

G'day Tommo,
Sounds like a great spot, we will be there late July. Can you tell me how long you are permitted to stay there.
Thanks,
Joe

Have you thought about Bargara, cvan park on the beach about 1knorth of the shops.Be careful of the beach leading to the mouth of the Kolan, very soft top on the sand and like pudding underneath, and there has been some nice 4wds stuck on the beach on incoming tide, including a Lexus with waves breaking over the car, took 2 tractors to pull it out recently. What about Walkers Point at Woodgate beach south of Bundy.
