Gazebo brands...?

GT Campers

OK folks, I'm in the market for a stand-alone gazebo. I'm aware of OzTrail and ARB's new jobbie, but what are some other brands that I can take a look at? For logistical reasons, I need to source these at wholesale/retail level NOT eBay.

Hints and advice appreciated

..thought of Aldi

They had a great one on sale in their QLD stores over Xmas. (But not
on sale in NSW). All struts were aluminium, solid, looked easy to erect.
and light weight, ..good for a roof bag carry. 2.2 metre height.

Kicking myself I did not buy one, coz ended up not going on sale in NSW when I got back. I'll wait.

By the way the Aldi GPS is great, impressive actually. Eats my Garmin for
breakfast. Fresh maps easy to download, ... but not free.

..cheers

I have an Outdoor Connection Gazebo 2.4 x 2.4 very happy with it. Had some very strong winds camping over Easter (enough to destroy 2 tents) but the gazebo stayed up perfectly.

GT,

Have you looked at quick shade in Lismore?

We bought similar quality ones for our SES unit and found them to be very good.

Cheers Kev

I'll second that. I've had a 3m x 3m Quick Shade since 1998. It cost $1,100 plus... dear as compared to the china imports, but its performed admirable and no signs of fabric ware.

We have one of these >

SCA Deluxe Gazebo

Got ours when SCA was having one of their he-uuge sales @ substantially less than "list" price..
Paid around $120 from memory (that's why I grabbed it when I did;-))

Haven't had it side-by-side with other brands, but build quality appears comparable to others that I've seen.
More than happy with this one...

Don't buy the el cheapos that take forever to put up. Make sure you get the "easy-up" type.
We use lots of them for food fairs and the aluminium ones tend to break although they are ok if you're really careful with them. Steel ones last much longer.

I have a blue oztrail delete gazebo I have taken to the markets every weekend for seven years, took it camping every chance, and treated it with disdain

Still waterproof, still works
