Airbag suspension on an Adventura Caravan

Submitted: Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 17:24

Geoff in SA

Has anyone had anything to do with having AirBag suspension being fitted as an after market option.
A caravan manufacturer in Salisbury in Adelaide is going to do mine.
Just wanting to know if anyone else has had or is getting it done.

Will this work better than a correctly-rated conventional spring?

A little more info please, do you have leaf spring suspension and are putting air bags on it? do you have independent with coils and changing the coils to air bags or are you changing the old suspension to ind air?
I have ind/air on our camper and it is brilliant, when I buy a caravan I will be getting the old suspension changed over.

Make sure you carry a spare bag, may never use it but if you do you will be thankful you have it with you.
