Coolcalalaya station / Murchison Off road adventures

Hairy (WA)

Gday,
We just got back from a night up at Coolcalalaya station on the Murchison river.
What a great set up and great hospitality!
There was a group of 18 of us who all ate at the Bar and camped in the dongas. The food was fantastic and not one person could finish there meal ( the serves were masive) even the beer was cheaper than normal bar prices!

Im pretty sure it costs $35 per night per car load which includes archery, air rifles, canoes, flying fox etc. and all the 4wd tracks and an extra $15 for a room.
You can hire quads/ bikes and horses or take your own. You can even take your dog.
We are already organising our next weekend up there.
Well worth spending a couple days there.

Cheers

Gday Savlo,
The turn off is just South of the Murchison river and is called Coolcalalya rd. It heads East off the North West Coastal Highway and is about 60km of graded dirt road. Its fairly well sign posted.

Cheers
