Cobb Cobble Stone or Greenfire fuel

I presume you are talking about the Cobb Cooker fuel. Try Anaconda or most camping stores, I think I have also seen it in Bunnings

The Cobb can use Heatbeads and Redhead Firestarters - both available from Coles Supermarkets.

Rays in Melbourne didn't have them a few weeks back when I checked. I tried the similar looking ones available at Bunnings. They were awful!! Very smoky flavour that spoilt the roast, scones and pizza. Unfortunately I didn't have any Heatbeads on the particular trip so had to use the "stones"

Although I've used the Cobble stones when they were available, and they're very convenient, I have now gone back to Headbeads. I prefer the longer lasting, even, gentle heat despite the longer, more dificult start-up.

Getting the Heatbeads going in the basket by putting it on the gas burner works quite well.
