This has been in use in Europe for a few years, on cable operated mechanical brakes. The Australian development was to graft the system into our electric brake systems. The sway detection system was well tested before the locals got to it.

I watched the video and, apart from the driver doing a lousy job trying to control the sway without the system enabled, I do see some benefit.

But most of our travels are not on bitumen. Not a mention in the video of dirt, off-road, gravel or sand applications. I personally have an issue with it when on dirt. I would not like it but would adapt if it was demonstrated as a good thing for dirt, gravel and sand.
